Newfrontiers is a worldwide family of churches united by a common mission; to reach the nations with the gospel by planting churches according to New Testament principles. We aim to acheive this by:

We believe that strong local churches are to be a blessing to towns, cities and communities across the world. We strive to build churches where each member participates, the gifts of the Spirit are outworked, where there is joy in caring for one another and where there is a desire to make a difference in society and to reach those in need.

In 1968 Terry Virgo began leading a church in Seaford, West Sussex. Over the next few years his sphere of influence began to grow as various churches came to him for guidance and advice. This signalled the beginning of what has come to be called Newfrontiers.

There are now over 600 Newfrontiers churches in more than 50 nations, including over 200 in the UK alone. David Stroud and his team oversee the churches in the UK and are responsible for supporting churches and strategising for future church plants.
